You can't change your Yahoo! ID unless you sign up or register into another new account as a new user.
But you can add extra E-mail addresses like "aliases" up to six to your account.
Go to your Yahoo! Mail page,
click 'Options' at the upper-right of mail window ('Mail Options' for Beta).
Click 'Mail Addresses' under 'Management' heading,
click '[Get Started]' under 'Extra Mail Address' heading.
Type your ID,click 'Check Availability' and if available, click 'Choose'. Suppose it's 'xyz'
then xyz@yahoo.com will be your extra alternate ID.
