Can I setup Outlook to send email that is from my yahoo email address?

I would like to send/receive email from/to MS Outlook. Can an account be setup in Outlook that would use my Yahoo email address as the author of emails? When I change the "From:" to my Yahoo email address then Outlook uses "me@currentdomain.com On Behalf Of me@yahoo.com". I don't want this but rather want to see the Yahoo address only.

Can I setup Outlook to send email that is from my yahoo email address?
Some yahoo answers will tell you a freeway to get pop forwarding but all you get is errors,it wont work.

The only way to send yahoo e mails to outlook express is pay to get yahoo mail plus

You can use Yahoo! Mail Plus to send messages from an external email address, even if you don't receive or "pop" messages from that account. This means that you can configure Yahoo! Mail Plus to send all your email from one place and choose the address you use to send each message. (Of course, being able to send messages from an external email address is especially useful if you also check external (POP) mail and want to reply to emails that were sent to you at a different email address.)

Tip: You can't configure Yahoo! Mail Plus to retrieve messages from another Yahoo! Mail account that hasn't been set up for POP3 access, but you can still send messages from that accoun
Reply:Nope it would have to be an sbc account. Yahoo is free but it doesn't allow you all the benefits as it would if you were paying for it.
Reply:If you want to use Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird or other third party email clients to view your email you have 2 options.

Subscribe to mail plus:

or download and install YPOPS

then follow the directions for your version of outlook here,

If you have trouble with set up, check the YPOPS installation page for alternate set up instructions.

I currently utilize the most recent version of Thunderbird (2.0.0.4)

and version 0.8.3 of YPOPS (there is a more recent version of YPOPS if you are interested) and have no problems.

DO NOT believe those who say it won't work.

Reply:Yahoo expressively states, that Outlook, Outlook Express and other progs like Incredimail only work with mail plus, but user "buzz_dawson44" posted, that by using "YPOPs!" you can get Outlook to work with Yahoo! mail regular and Yahoo! mail beta too. I checked it and it sounds really good!
