Email setup in Outlook?

I am trying to set up my email that I have from my hosted account. I am confused as to how to do this.

I have a POP3 and SMTP with my hosting company that I can use which would be mail.mydomain.com for both. Or I have my ISP POP3 and SMTP.

Do I use one or the other or half and half, one to send and the other to get. And how in the heck do I set it up, I am really confused because I keep getting logon errors.

Email setup in Outlook?
You should probably use the ones with your hosted account, that way all your mail reflects your domain. However some ISP's insist that all traffic go through their SMTP server, mostly in order to control spam. That may be causing you some problems and you can contact your ISP to verify this. Usually logon errors are the result of an incorrect configuration in your e-mail client(Outlook, or whatever you use). Double check all the settings, particularly regarding the server settings. Sometimes it is easier to just delete the account and start over. Good Luck
Reply:You would send your mail with your ISP, smtp.yourisp.com,

and the pop3 would be your hosting domain, mail.yourhosting.com. Another option is use both smtp and pop3 of your hosting domain, but one extra step, where it says "outgoing server" and under that it states"my server requires authentication" , check mark it and open the tab, enter your ISP username and password manually, not the " use the same as my outgoing server"

Username: MyISP email

Password: MY ISP Password
Reply:Use POP3 for incoming and SMTP for outgoing .. if you do not know how to set it up, go to the properties of your Outlook Express and click on Tools and Account --%26gt; Click on the Mail tab and click Properties. Select your Server as well as your Name, Email and Password, then select your SERVERS --%26gt; for example: Mail.Juno.com for the POP3 server (Incoming) and Out going as SMTP.JUNO.COM
Reply:You can create a separate identity for your hosting company and your ISP. If you need help configuring the program to work with your ISP's network, then their tech support team is likely to provide assistance.
