Unable to setup POP/SMTP Email service?

in outlook, after filling all the required smtp/pop details, when i click on SEND/RECEIVE button, it prompts me for my username and password again, i click on ok, but it just continuosly prompts, does anyone know why, i typed in my email username and password or there a separate login details i should be putting in.

Likely you have an incorrect username. Try adding the domain name in the username. e.g. you.name@somedomain.com


or remove it if it is there.
Reply:are you connected to the internet? Perhaps you have your userid/password wrong...
