How do i setup my @sbcglobal.net email on Microsoft Outlook?

I really need to know this as well. Someone else has already asked, I din't see a good answer. So can I please know! Thank you

How do i setup my @sbcglobal.net email on Microsoft Outlook?
Give this a try. The incoming and outgoing mail servers might be different, it just depends on your service. But these will probably work.





To locate and verify your email settings in Outlook Express:





Click on the Tools menu in Outlook Express.


Click on Accounts.


Click on the Mail tab.


Select your AT%26amp;T Yahoo! email account and click on the Properties button.


Click on the Servers tab.


Verify these settings:


For "My incoming mail server is a ____ server," the field contains POP3.


The Incoming mail (POP3) should be pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com and the Outgoing mail (SMTP) should be smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com.


The Account name field contains your full AT%26amp;T Yahoo! email address (e.g., YourName@sbcglobal.net).


The box next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication is NOT checked.


The My server requires authentication box is checked.


Click on the Advanced tab.


Verify these settings


Under Outgoing mail (SMTP) should be port 465 and the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL) is checked.


Under Incoming mail (POP3) should be port 995 and the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL) is checked.


Click OK.


Click Close.
