How do I setup windows, so yahoo mail is my default email?

Click on Tools----then on Internet Options.


Across the top of the dialog box, click the "programs" tab. Click the down arrow next to the "email" line and choose Yahoo Mail---then "apply and ok".





If Yahoo isn't one of the choices--(it usually isn't) ---then you need to download (or RE-download) Messenger---all of it---and that puts Yahoo as a choice in the list.


Now, go back (tools/internet options/programs), and you can choose Yahoo mail. Apply and ok.





You can always remove Messenger, if you don't want it, without affecting the setting.
